1 can cream corn
1 can whole kernel corn (drained)
1 box Jiffy corn bread mix***
1 stick butter
1 cup grated cheese
½ onion, chopped very fine
½ green bell pepper, chopped very fine
1 tsp sugar
1 egg beaten
***Jiffy cornbread mix can be substituted with:
2/3 cup all purpose flour
1/2 cup yellow cornmeal
3 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt***
Mix all ingredients. Pour into greased 9x13 pan and bake for 45 min at 350° until done in center. Should not be runny.
