Clone of a Cinnabon

This is the one that Sarah G makes, and after having made it once I said I would not be making it again. It took us forever and had a ton of things to do with it! But, should I give in one day and make it, I won't hate myself but I will be prepared for it to take awhile. The original recipe is here. I also doubled the original to make 24 since we have 8 people.

2 cups of warm milk (110°)
4 eggs, room temperature
2/3 cup butter, melted
9 cups bread flour
2 tsp salt
1 cup sugar
1 tbsp + 2 tsp bread machine yeast

2 cups packed brown sugar
¼ cup + 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
2/3 cup butter, softened

2 3oz packages cream cheese, softened
½ cup butter, softened
3 cups powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
¼ tsp salt

Place ingredients in the pan of the bread machine in the order recommended by the manufactures. Select dough cycle, press start.

Dissolve milk and sugar together, add yeast and let it get foamy. Add salt, eggs and butter while continuing to stir. Add flour slowly.

After the dough has doubled in size, turn it out onto a lightly floured surface, cover, and let rest for 10 minutes. In a small bowl, combine brown sugar and cinnamon.

Divide down in half, roll dough into a 16x21 inch rectangle. Spread each dough rectangle with half of butter and sprinkle with half of cinnamon/sugar mixture. Roll up dough and cut each roll into 12 rolls. Place rolls in 2 lightly greased 9x13 baking pans. Cover and let rise until nearly doubled, about 30 minutes. Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 400°.

Bake rolls in preheated oven until golden brown, about 15 minutes. While rolls are baking, beat together cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, vanilla, and salt. Spread frosting on warm rolls before serving.
